Lol, i know this already exists in places.

BUT

I found out my contract with TPG has expired.
$69.95 a month 40GB/110GB.

I was just wondering who has a similar plan @ similar cost with a different company? And who has reputable customer service?

If you want good customer service you wont get anywhere near that amount of data. The reason TPG is so cheap is because they skimp on the CS and Technical sides where possible.

The only 2 ISPs I would bother with are Node or iiNet

I know everyone refers to whirlpool, but I don't think the annual survey is as obvious. The information on customer service is not as common knowledge as the sort of stuff in Broadband Choice or on the forums.

Westnet continues to have ridiculously high customer service ratings, despite having goatse for a logo.

its just a bit of a toss up between tpg and node for me anyways, tpg = better value, node = better quality, in a manner of speaking

Sattelite >_>
pay $2500 for installation ( or get government rebate)
then you can pay that same price for an amazing 2gb/4gb with a constant 15 bazillion ping

We recently upgraded to ADSL 2+, decided to try out Beagle. (http://beagle.com.au/products/broadband/adsl2.html)

No problems so far, connected quickly better customer support then telstra (they resell the Telstra/optus wholesale)

75GB/$99.95

when we had satellite the cost's where nowhere near that, we supplied our own satellite and just needed a box as we just used our dial up phone line for uploads. that was back about 5 years ago when a 64k download connection was pretty ok and it was only like $60 - $80 a month i think

i'm with node and i find it pretty good. doesn't drop out. though i've never had to call their customer service yet so i don't know what its like.

paying $60 a month for 20 gig limit 1500/256

I'm annoyed... TPG have installed a DSLAM into the Griffith exchange, so ADSL2+ is available for TPG customers only. What annoys me though, is that I live like 7-8 km out of town, and am connected to the Bilbul exchange... which will probably take forever to get ADSL2+.
