Msy Needs A new site.

And EVERYONE knows it.

ANYTHING would be better than what they have now, its basically a site for hosting their prices PDF, and thats pretty much it. there is NULL design involved in that

I am aware that anything would be better. i'm aware that people have tried to redesign it before and that msy still refuse to make their site even vaguely pleasing to the eyes. I dont plan on sending this to them it was just a bit of fun, and there was actually about 1-2 hours of design which id hardly call null.

what? oh sorry i meant the msy site has null design, not yours, i liked yours. Also, i dont mind the pdf thing too BUT they could have a much better site. Sorry i phrased it all wrong

it serves a purpose. they're not an online store, after all. it'd be a interesting technical puzzle to try to actually sell them a site.

They're getting to the point at which it's aesthetically important not to change it. They've built a strong brand around that terrible website.

idunno. they could have a notification up for a new site for a few months and ease into it with the option of going to the old one. generally its a big deal for large commercial companies to have a pleasing website rather than something a 10 year old whipped up in wordpad.

Like every1 else, I think the general layout/look of the current MSY site is shit! But once you get to the PDF its not too bad, pretty easy to compare and check prices with. Simple solution: Bookmark the link to the PDF (:

But anyways, I like the layout and look WF (: But have you tried to actually use it as a site? Like put it into Dreamweaver and see if you can get it to all work ? Coz atm isn't it jst done in photoshop, so its more of a pic rather than a site?

They don't need to change it. What VicTheBitter said; it's an incredibly strong brand now. And on a usability scale it still scores very highly. Just not on aesthetics. ^-^

yeah mawson it was just a design in photoshop and is gonna stay that way for now.
plus im thinking the only way I could get it looking constantly that sexy is to have to develop all the images myself for every new product, price tag, label and piece of fancy text.
